Vision Pro recently offered access to a series of NBA games live in Apple Immersive Video, and now the Blackmagic camera that enabled that experience has officially been unveiled to the public with availability this fall.
Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive 100G is unveiled, designed for live production of Apple Immersive Video

From Blackmagic’s press release:
The press release also confirms that this is the same camera used recently to stream Los Angeles Lakers games for Vision Pro users.
Apple Immersive Video is the proprietary format used by Apple for the most impressive video experience offered by Vision Pro.
Though you can watch any video in visionOS and get a high-quality, theatrical-level experience, Immersive Video surrounds you with a 180-degree view of the action. Essentially, it makes it feel like you’re right there inside the video.
Apple offers a variety of different types of Immersive Video content, but sports and other live events are widely seen as having the most potential in the format. The recent NBA games that were live-streamed largely confirmed that.
The new Blackmagic camera will officially be available starting in the third quarter of the year at $26,495.
